Pope Francis died on what Catholics call Easter Monday, 2025. Does his death have any significance? What can we learn from not only his death, but his life as well? We must know about the Catholic Church and events in Pope Francis’ life to know what God is saying.

The Death of the Pope

What does the death of the Pope mean? The Catholic Church has inundated Christianity with traditions all linked to Pagan Holidays, including the one to celebrate the ultimate sacrifice for our redemption, the death of God’s Son.

Jesus died on Passover. There were no bunnies or eggs involved. These are linked to the worship of pagan gods. Easter Monday is part of Eastertide, a public holiday in more than 50 predominantly Christian countries. In Western Christianity, it marks the second day of the Octave of Easter. This is contrary to God’s Word.

Passover is the feast God commanded His people to celebrate forever. Why aren’t we celebrating His Son on the actual day He died and rose again?

Where did it all begin?

The Catholic Church is considered the first and longest-standing Christian institution, dating back to 313 when Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity. He hated Judaism and wanted to separate Christianity from Israel. Constantine created “Christian” celebrations that combined his previous pagan practices of worshiping other gods with Christian celebrations such as Easter and Christmas.

In the prophet's word given by God: The Meaning of 313, God commands His people to separate from that which is not Holy, to repent (turn around and go the other direction). The word “holy” means set apart. We must obey His first commandment:

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me”. (Exodus 20:2-3 ESV)

What does it mean to have “no other gods before Me?” We are to have nothing to do with other gods and what people do to worship them. This is explained in many scriptures.

You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you… (Deuteronomy 6:14 ESV)

…that you may not mix with these nations remaining among you or make mention of the names of their gods or swear by them or serve them or bow down to them, (Joshua 23:7 ESV)

You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine. (Leviticus 20:26 ESV)

We are not to “mix” with what others do when worshiping other gods. This is what being holy unto God means! It is not only for Israel, it is for those grafted in through Jesus as well:

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-21 ESV)

We were bought with a price, grafted in, and adopted into God’s family. We don’t need to go to a temple to connect with God. Because of what Jesus accomplished, we are God’s temple. This is why we must be Holy unto God as He is holy! It is time to repent (to turn from what is wrong) for everything that began with Constantine in 313. (see the 313 video here)

Pope Francis took this to another level by signing the Document of Human Fraternity on February 4, 2019, that emphasizes the need to honor those who call upon another god…lower case “g.” This document inspired the building of the Abrahamic House, an interfaith complex on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, which houses a mosque, a church, and a synagogue. This is mixing with the god of Islam, under Muhammad, instead of declaring that Jesus is the only way to God and Heaven!

Progressive Pope Francis’

Pope Francis is considered one of the most progressive leaders of the church for authorizing LGBTQ relationships to receive a “blessing” from church officials on December 18, 2023, one day after this happened:

• Lightning struck a statue of St. Peter on Pope Francis’ birthday, December 17.

  • The Pope is considered to hold the mantle, or power and authority of Peter; the keys to the kingdom, Jesus declared upon him.

• Lightning struck the statue, despite there being lightning rods some 30-40 feet above it.

• The statue was just north of Buenos Aires

  • the town where the Pope was born and served as a Cardinal.

• The halo and key of Saint Peter were blasted to bits, totally destroyed by the lightning.

  • The halo is a symbol of holiness and the key; a symbol of power

How many “coincidences” does it take to consider God is speaking? Lightning is symbolic of God’s power. Peter is the Saint on whom the Catholic church is founded. The lightning strike was a warning to the Pope. Should he proceed on the path supporting and blessing what God considers an abomination, the authority of that church be removed: the lampstand authorizing it as a church of God. What does God consider an abomination?

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. (Leviticus 18:22 ESV)

LGBTQ is a sin. It is that simple. We should not persecute them for it, for in many cases it is not entirely their fault. Where does the desire to have relations with the same sex come from?

Because of that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

Why God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. (Romans 1:21-27 ESV)

When mankind refuses to acknowledge God and honor Him as they should, He gives a portion of people over to the sin of homosexuality. This doesn’t keep it from being a sin, but having sex outside of marriage is a sin. If you have done this, who are you to judge them harshly?

This being said, we cannot bless what is sinful. You cannot bless a couple living together out of wedlock, and you cannot bless an LGBTQ relationship. Because the Pope declared that this type of blessing was approved by the Catholic Church, he placed the church in direct opposition to God.

What is God Saying

This is what God is saying about the death of Pope Francis. God gave them time to repent, and they did not, so He placed Pope Francis on a “bed of suffering,”

Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. (Revelation 2:20-22 AKJV)

Jezebel was a queen in Israel hundreds of years before this prophecy was given by John. Just as the prophecy concerning Elijah was not about the man Elijah coming before Jesus, but about a person working in the power of Elijah, this mention of Jezebel can represent someone operating in the same spiritual power as this woman. This means it doesn’t have to be a woman; that is just grammatically correct: it is anyone operating this way.

What does this spirit of Jezebel do? It claims to be a “prophetess,” the feminine tense of a “prophet,” someone who hears and speaks for God. It exploits this position to teach and seduce God’s servants into committing fornication. Surprisingly, this isn’t only about sex!

According to Thayer's Greek Lexicon, the Greek word porneia is translated “sexual immorality” but “following a form of speech common in the Old Testament, which represents the close relationship existing between Jehovah,” metaphorically, a marriage, and is used to represent idolatry four times in the book of Revelation alone! The worship of idols is idolatry?

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images)... (1 Samuel 15:23 AMPC)

Continuing in a direction we think is right, focusing stubbornly on what we want, is making an idol out of our desires. Often, what we are stubbornly persisting in is sin. What is blessing those who are in abominable sin? It is telling them that it is okay with God. It is supporting the stubbornness of the heart to continue in sin! It is most certainly not telling them to turn from sin!

What does “eating food sacrificed to idols” mean? The Bible will never contradict itself. If it seems to, we must look at the context of what is said and understand the time in which it was said and the metaphors that may be connected to it. Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 8 that we know that idols have no power, so what is sacrificed to them will not harm us if we eat it. The statement about being condemned by eating food sacrificed to idols must have a metaphorical meaning, much like the previous item.

The actual word means to consume what was left over from sacrifices or worship of other gods. We are to be “holy as God is holy.” The word holy means set apart. Many things in this world today are left over from worshipping other gods. The holiday traditions started by the Catholic Church have incorporated those things into their religious holidays! Pope Francis elevated this to a whole new level with the Document of Human Fraternity and the Abrahamic House!

In a February 17, 2025, story on Politco.com, Ben Munster claimed that Pope Francis was continually suffering from one attack upon his health after another, and according to two people familiar with the matter, “Francis has been suffering from intense pain.” Pope Francis was suffering on a sick bed, as stated in the prophecy, which is the Book of Revelation.

Pope Francis’ death serves as a warning: the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel will decommission the Catholic Church if the new Pope does not reform the Catholic Church and turn from what is unholy, that which is sin, that which is connected to other gods. The lampstand will be removed!

What is a lampstand? Let’s look at the Word of God:

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20 AKJV)

Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. (Revelation 2:5 AKJV)

If a church refuses to repent from sin, the light of God can be removed from it. They will no longer be connected to Him.

If you are Catholic, I urge you to look at the practices within the church. Do they line up with scripture?
