EU Power Outage and Fire Around Jerusalem - What is God Saying about the New Pope

A series of events have occurred around the election of the new Pope, and yes, God has sent signs as a commentary on it!

The dates of the events make it obvious that they are connected. We must take a closer look to see what God is saying.
Power Outage & Conclave
On Monday, 28 April 2025, the Vatican announced the date of the conclave to elect a new pope. On the same day, Portugal and Spain both lost power at 12:33 CEST. The majority of the Iberian (eye-beer-ian) Peninsula, which includes mainland Portugal and peninsular Spain, had power restored within 10 hours. This peninsula is known as Sepharad (SEF-ər-ad) in Hebrew. This originates from a particular scripture:
The exiles of this host of the people of Israel shall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad shall possess the cities of the Negeb. (Obadiah 1:20 ESV)
When Israel rebelled against God, they were exiled to a land called Sepharad. The entire peninsula represents those who have rebelled against God’s ways. Experts believe the cause of the outage is most likely due to a cascading effect when two power sources were lost: wind turbines and solar power.
What can be learned from these items? The blackout’s timing and where it was located?
10 Hours
Hours: The time
10: ordination to God or Satan
A tithe is a tenth of our earnings that belongs to God. God gave man the Ten Commandments. It represents man's responsibility or ordination to God.
The ten toes in Daniel 2, and the ten horns in Revelation 13 and 17 are prophetic symbols of man’s last great world-ruling kingdom under Satan.
This is the time when a new pope will be ordained to God or Satan. The outage happened when the time of the election of the new pope was announced, to support this interpretation. The loss of two sources of power caused the power outage:
Electricity: the Holy Spirit, the power of God.
Wind turbine: the power of the Holy Spirit
“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8 ESV)
Solar Power: Solar power comes from the sun, which represents Jesus.
The power was lost, which means the Holy Spirit and connection with Jesus will be lost. The power of God will no longer be present. It occurred at the same time as the announcement of the new pope’s election date. Is God implying that the new pope will have no connection to Him through Jesus and the Holy Spirit? Let’s look at some more signs around this event to confirm what God is saying, for by two or three witnesses a fact shall be established. The outage occurred at 12:33:

12: governance
The Bible shows that 12 is a perfect governmental foundation.
God’s nation, Israel, was divided into 12 tribes, which governed the country.
33: A time of purification separating what is good from what is evil
And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled (Leviticus 12:4, KJV).
Jesus died at the age of 33. Satan thought he had won a great victory when they took His life. The same will happen now. The False Prophet’s governance of the largest church on the planet will look like a great victory, but it will actually be a dividing line between good and evil. Who will follow the church that is no longer a church because the “lampstand” has been removed:
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. (Revelation 2:5 ESV)
When a church follows evil leaders, after a time, God will remove the lampstand, the light of the Holy Spirit. The power outage brought darkness to Portugal and Spain, which are in the top 24 countries in terms of the number of Catholic population and the top 15 for the percentage of Catholics in the population within a country. These facts support the interpretation of the sign.
15: Being brought into captivity under evil rulers, with a promise of freedom to follow
On Nisan 15, God informed His people that their descendants would end up as slaves in a foreign country (Egypt). And eventually they would be set free (Genesis 15:12-16).
24: Division of work in the Body of Christ and the rulership of Jesus
King David divided those responsible for temple music, as well as priests and Levites who aided them, into 24 courses (1 Chronicles 23-24).
Psalms 24 shows us who will be delivered from the captivity of the evil government:
The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek your face, O Jacob. Selah.
Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be you lift up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; even lift them up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Jesus is coming, but before He arrives, the world will be delivered into an evil government led by a False Prophet who will lead many astray. The Catholic Church claims the Pope hears directly from God – like a prophet does. Psalms 24 shows what we need to do to prepare for the return of the Lord.
Keep our hearts and hands from doing what God says is sin, evil.
Remove vanity
Vanity: excessive pride in or admiration of one's own appearance or achievements.
Wearing elaborate robes and hats to declare your elevated status above all others counts as vanity.
Take deceitful oaths
We must seek the face, the presence of the Lord.
Is your church urging you to see the presence of the Lord for yourself, or come to them to connect with Jesus?
Examine the Catholic church, where do they stand on these issues? This is what God is saying about the Catholic Church:
You have rebelled against my ways and followed that which is evil and sin. Your lampstand is removed. It is no longer a church of God. The enemy is leading this “church,” which God no longer accepts as His. They are leading God’s people into sin.
There was another event that happened in connection with the conclave. Does it also support this interpretation of the event?
Fire Surrounds Jerusalem
On the morning of April 30th, a fire broke out in the forests around Jerusalem and continued burning for 30 hours before being contained.
30 Hours:
Hours: the time has come.
30: The fulfillment of prophecy and selling out God for profit
Jesus was betrayed by Judas for 30 silver coins. This act was a fulfillment of prophecy.
Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, and said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him (Jesus) unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14-15, KJV).
April 30th: Memorial Day in Israel, where they remember the fallen soldiers
May 1st: Independence Day in Israel: The celebration of the establishment of the nation in 1948.
The lighting of twelve beacons, one for each of the Tribes of Israel, is part of the celebration.
There is a bit of irony in the fact that on the day that they typically light beacons to celebrate the establishment of their nation, fire surrounded Jerusalem. Since fire often represents correction from God because of past judgments due to sin, these fires should be a beacon to Israel of God’s impending correction.
The Abraham Accords are an agreement that gives great profit to Israel in return for peace. This treaty helped establish the Abrahamic House, which states that the Catholic church, Islam, and Judaism acknowledge and respect the worship of gods from other religions. Christianity and Judaism are linked by worshiping the same and only true God, however, we are not to acknowledge any other god but ours. This includes Allah, the god of Islam.
Ronald Lauder has served as the World Jewish Congress President since June 2007. Mr Lauder states that this document “underscores for us just how essential interfaith dialogue and cooperation are in progressing toward our vision of a more peaceful and secure world for all peoples.” This is the opposite of what God expects of His people according to their scriptures, known by Christians as the Old Testament.
The Abraham Accords and the Abrahamic House are paving the way for the Catholic Church and a new temple to be built on the Temple Mount. Will you pledge an oath to the Catholic Church if you are required to become a Catholic to access the mount?
We can summarize the items so far by saying:
“The time has come where God will judge the nation of Israel because they have ‘sold out’ God for money in a ‘peace treaty,’ and supporting the ‘Abrahamic House.’ Just as the fires surrounded Jerusalem, what is occurring will lead to Jerusalem being surrounded by the enemy.”
Other facts about the fire directly link it to the election of the new pope. Authorities imposed a nationwide ban on lighting fires in open areas, effective until May 7, to prevent further outbreaks. This is the day the conclave is set to select a new pope.
Fire: correction from God because of sin
Ban on fire: removing sin to prevent correction from God.
Those in Israel who will turn from sin and do not participate in the agenda of the Catholic church in Israel can escape the judgment of God and the correction that will come upon Jerusalem.
What was damaged will reveal who may be in danger outside of Israel. One of the few places that sustained severe damage was the Catholic Community of the Beatitudes in Emmaus-Nicopolis. Within just half an hour, utility buildings, the residence of the main superior, and the home of an Orthodox couple who had worked in non-denominational ministry for years burned down. This organization professes the desire to follow Christ by living according to the Beatitudes––the sayings Jesus gave, each one beginning with
“Blessed are the…” These offer encouraging promises that outline the values in life that lead to prosperity and salvation.
Despite being founded on these promises stated by Jesus, the organization incurred the most severe damage from this fire. This suggests that those who are not walking in the principles stated by our Lord will come under judgment. 7,000 people were evacuated as a state of emergency was declared in Israel, and almost 6,000 acres were destroyed.
1000: represents the reign of Jesus
Then he cast him into the abyss, and locked him up, and sealed the abyss over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer until the thousand years were fulfilled… (Revelation 20:1-3).
6: represents man
7: represents perfection and completion in the natural physical world.
What will result from the conclave is what is necessary to bring God’s perfect, prophetic completion to this natural world. The Beatitudes were among the 6000 acres destroyed: to fulfill God’s plan, destruction will come upon mankind because they refused to turn from sin and walk in His ways as directed by Jesus in the Beatitudes. This is seen in the prophecy of Revelation after the sixth trumpet:
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21 AKJV)
What is happening in the conclave is directly related to the trumpets and the return of Jesus–the 1000-year reign. Two residences were destroyed: the Catholic leader and another aligned with their doctrine, but working in a non-denominational ministry. This destruction will not be limited to the Catholic community, but also to any denomination in agreement with them.
Look at the Beatitudes. Are you doing what is necessary to receive God’s blessing on your life?
American Pope
On the second day of the conclave, an American was selected as pope! The First Lady, Melania Trump, and the Vice President of the United States are both Catholic. In 2023, Pope Francis elevated Robert Prevost, a close associate, to the rank of Cardinal, making him eligible to become the next pope. Let’s put all this together:
Pope Francis initiated many projects that paved the way for the False Prophet to arise as a pope.
Robert Prevost, known as Pope Leo, is a close associate appointed by Francis.
The AntiChrist is a close associate of Trump.
Trump’s wife and the Vice President are Catholic
The False Prophet will support the AntiChrist
Seems pretty clear that the enemy is putting his pieces into place so that he can seize power, which has been prophesied in Revelation. We can confirm this if Pope Leo continues supporting the Document of Human Fraternity, the Abrahamic House, and policies that are directly opposed to God’s ways, as Francis did. It is time to take a closer look at the church you are connected to. Compare its doctrine to the churches of Revelation. Make sure you are connected to Jesus and not to a religion. The pieces are in place for Daniel’s Week to begin. All we need is for the 3rd Temple to be built!
